Privacy Policy
How Talent Brew processes personal information in accordance with POPIA’s eight conditions.
1. Accountability
The Only Software Hub (Pty) Ltd (registration 2017/076992/07), at 324 Pine Avenue, Ferndale Mall, Randburg, 2198, South Africa, is the responsible party for platform processing. Information Officer: [Information Officer pending registration]. Contact: privacy@talentbrew.co.za.
2. Processing limitation
We process account, company, KYB, professional, contract, invoice, payment-proof, security and communication data where necessary to perform our contracts, meet legal obligations, protect legitimate marketplace interests, or act on valid consent. Mandatory fields are identified at collection; without them we may be unable to verify a company or provide marketplace access.
3. Purpose specification
Information is used for identity and business verification, matching, proposals, contracting, invoicing, payment confirmation, fraud prevention, security, support, auditability and legal compliance. We do not sell personal information.
4. Further processing limitation
We do not reuse information incompatibly with those purposes. New materially different uses require a lawful basis and, where required, a fresh notice or consent.
5. Information quality
Users and companies must keep records accurate. Corrections can be made through account/company settings or requested from the Information Officer.
6. Openness
We identify collection purposes in relevant forms and publish our sub-processor and cross-border register. Supply of KYB, tax, professional and transaction information is necessary to use the corresponding service.
7. Security safeguards
Controls include encrypted transport, access controls, tenant isolation, MFA for privileged roles, private object storage, upload validation, audit logging, monitoring, vulnerability scanning and restricted retention. Suspected compromises should be reported immediately to privacy@talentbrew.co.za.
8. Data-subject participation
You may request access, correction, objection, restriction or deletion, subject to legal retention duties, through the secure privacy request portal after signing in or by emailing privacy@talentbrew.co.za. We verify identity before releasing data and respond within legally required periods. You may complain to South Africa’s Information Regulator.
Retention
Active-account records are retained while needed to provide the service. Closed-account profile data is scheduled for deletion or de-identification after 90 days; contracts, invoices, tax, payment and security/audit records may be retained for up to seven years where law or dispute protection requires it. Legal holds override routine deletion.
Children and automated decisions
The service is for authorised business users aged 18 or older. Match scores support human decisions and do not independently create legal or similarly significant effects.
