Terms of Use & Cookie Notice
The public-site rules that apply before a company signs its Platform Service Agreement.
Acceptable use
You may use the site only for lawful business evaluation and authorised marketplace activity. Do not probe security, scrape profiles, impersonate others, upload malicious content, evade access controls, disrupt service, or use marketplace information to circumvent Talent Brew.
Accounts
Keep credentials confidential, provide accurate information and notify us of suspected compromise. Marketplace transactions remain governed by the signed Platform Service Agreement and assignment contract, which prevail over these public-site terms where they conflict.
Intellectual property
Talent Brew’s software, branding and site content remain its property. No licence is granted beyond ordinary use of the service. User content remains owned by its lawful owner, subject to the permissions needed to operate the marketplace.
Availability and liability
We use commercially reasonable care but do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every match results in an engagement. Nothing excludes liability that South African law does not permit us to exclude.
Cookies
We ask for a cookie preference the first time you visit — Accept all, Decline optional, or Essential only — and remember your choice for a year via the cc_consent cookie itself (which remembers your choice). You can change your mind at any time using "Cookie preferences" in the footer, which clears the remembered choice so you're asked again. We record each choice (with the date and notice version) for up to one year so we can demonstrate the saved decision on request; if you're signed in when you choose, the record is linked to your account.

The cookies currently used support sign-in, session security and your saved preferences. They remain available when you decline optional cookies; declining does not sign you out. We do not currently use advertising, marketing, or analytics cookies, so all three choices currently enable the same essential features. Changed purposes require a new notice and choice. Before any are introduced, they will be added to this table under a separate, declinable category, and choosing "Essential only" or "Decline optional" will keep them off.
A service worker may keep a public Talent Brew wake-up page in your browser cache so returning visitors can see connection progress. It stores no account pages, form submissions or personal data. Clearing this site’s browser data removes it.
